Mariah

We'll always remember our "Babe" (Ch. Shamrock Acres Royal Oak BYOB, CD), back in the early '70's .. but then Mariah appeared in our lives in the early '90's.  Was this "reincarnation"?  She had the same look, the same sweet, gentle and playful temperament, the same love of carrying your keys to the car or taking a guest gently by the hand to the cookie jar, and the same way of making eye contact as did the "Babe".

 After finishing her championship, Mariah was bred twice.  Her children and grand-children have produced wonderful competitors, hospital therapy visitors and calm, intelligent and loved family companions.  Unfortunately, a serious illness claimed our Mariah too early, at the age of 10.  She is missed terribly and will be remembered forever.
